HubSpot Debuts LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms Service

HubSpot users can now create LinkedIn lead generation forms from within the HubSpot platform, the company announced on Monday.

The new service, LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, allows brands to collect leads from their ads on LinkedIn using pre-filled forms. These can be set up within the free HubSpot ads tool, HubSpot says.

In addition, users can align their ad campaigns with other activities, including email marketing.

LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms is designed to help companies “reduce the number of steps for buyers and increase their own ROI," states Meghan Keaney Anderson, VP of marketing at HubSpot.

The company notes that 47% of consumers who use an ad-blocker do so because ads are annoying, according to GlobalWebIndex.

"Ads can be intrusive, irrelevant and completely ineffective,” Anderson says. “Or they can be the inverse.”

The way to achieve the latter is to root your ad strategy in CRM and embed your conversion path “where people choose to spend their time, you can create an ad experience that is better for buyers,” Anderson argues.

According to HubSpot, the new capability helps users:

  • Create Lead Gen Forms for LinkedIn without leaving the LinkedIn platform
  • Build target audiences off any data point within the HubSpot CRM
  • Sync leads generated on LinkedIn to HubSpot, enabling sales and marketing teams to follow up in a contextual way.
  • Report on advertising ROI.
  • Manage and report on ads across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google, from the HubSpot platform.
