Drip’s ecommerce CRM platform, Drip ECRM, is now live in Shopify's app store, the company announced on Wednesday.
The tool allows Shopify merchants to deliver hyper-personalized digital journeys, the firm claims.
The goal is to help retailers achieve “long-term loyalty and growth in a space overshadowed by Amazon," states John Tedesco, Drip CEO.
Drip ECRM facilitates email segmentation, workflows, and real-time campaigns that drive personalized experiences for Shopify merchants, the company says.
The Shopify App Store features apps that help with lead generation to shipping logistics and other tasks.
Tedesco notes that "while Shopify focuses on creating the best platform for merchants, Drip is focusing on creating customer relationships beyond the storefront.”
Drip contends that merchants can no longer rely on tricks like free shipping and price slashing — they have to base their marketing on data and a one-to-one experience.
