Israel-based marketing platform Namogoo has acquired
Remarkety, an ecommerce marketing automation company. Terms were not disclosed.
With this purchase, Namogoo adds hyper-targeted SMS and email campaigns to its capabilities.
"The addition of Remarkety's unique technology allows us to equip brands with multichannel experiences, engaging shoppers wherever they are in their journeys,” states Chemi Katz, CEO and
co-founder of Namogoo.
Last year, Namogoo acquired Personali, a provider of AI-powered behavioral analytics tools. And during that period, Namogoo raised $40 million in a Series C funding
round.
For its part, Remarkety feels it will benefit from Namogoo’s intent capabilities.
"With Namogoo, we have the resources and proprietary
technology to take email and SMS to the next level with predictive intent personalization,” says Guy Harel, CEO and co-founder of Remarkety.
Namogoo helps brands determine shopper
intent. Earlier this year, launched Intent-Based Promotions, a tool that allows brands to serve automated incentives that are individualized for every site visit, the company
says.
Intent-Based Promotions considers each visitor’s intent, while tying it to desired margins and inventory levels, the company adds.
Retailers
know that “every phase of every site visit is an opportunity that can either be won or lost, and in this incredibly competitive retail environment, losing customers is not an option,” Katz
said at the time.
