Founders Casey Adams and Kieran O'Brien, who are both in their early twenties, discovered that there was no easy way to create a media kit –– a document containing information about a creator's business, product or event –– online. Creator data quickly became outdated and sending analytics to a brand was monotonous and time-consuming for the creator.
“There was no off-the shelf product that aggregated social media tools and real-time data into a ‘resume’ for musicians and influencers,” said O'Brien. With MediaKits, creators can build brand value by telling stories in a “compelling, quick and virtual way.”
A YouTube video offers a comprehensive view of how one might use the platform to create an entire media kit in just 30 seconds.
While O'Brien and Adams expect early users of their technology to be influencers, they believe it has “applicability for everyone.”

Currently, MediaKits accesses the APIs of major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. Spotify, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Soundcloud and more will be integrated soon.
One important aspect of MediaKits is its application of real-time data. This includes constantly updated numbers of followers, engagement rates, audience demographics, songs downloaded, and more to pull in potential advertisers and sponsors.
The Starter version of MediaKits is free, while the Basic version costs $19 per month and offers extra customization and added linked social accounts (3). The Premium Package costs $49 per month with a premium template, more social accounts (5), and 3 kits.
