Lotame on Monday announced three major
promotions to strengthen its executive team. The newly promoted executives will focus on improving services for privacy, data, connected television, and sales.
“The advertising industry has a real challenge to meet all the regulations, because so much changes on a daily basis,” said Eliza Nevers, Lotame chief product officer in North
America, whose promotion from senior vice president was announced today.
“If I could change anything in the U.S., it would be for all states to follow the same
privacy regulations on a federal level,” she said. “We all want to put the user first, but we interpret the laws differently. The industry needs more clarity on best practices for
privacy.”
When asked to cite her goals for the year in her new role, Nevers said “spending time developing what customers need and developing our marketing story around that strategy.”
She called the new strategy a “natural evolution of the DMP,” but stopped short of providing details. “It’s about bringing expertise in first-party management, data, and privacy together to tie known and unknown users to do site monetization and draw in subscribers,” she said, adding that the focus is on supporting the changing needs of publishers and brands.
Nevers led the team through changes in Lotame’s data management platform, and the launch of Panorama ID, Lotame’s global cookieless identity solution to drive a privacy-first open web.
Support for Lotame’s Panorama ID continues to grow as agencies like Omnicom, and brands such as Dr. Martens, Advance Local, and others participate in hundreds of tests globally.
Hunter Terry, the second executive announcement, spent a decade at Lotame in various roles across data engineering, commercial sales, and client success in the APAC, Americas, and ANZ regions.
He takes on the role of commercial lead for connected television (CTV) and EMEA managing director, responsible for advancing Lotame’s technologies, capabilities, and progress in the CTV space such as customers, data, technology, and partnerships.
CTV is one of the fastest-growing channels in digital media and marketing, specifically at Lotame.
Chris Hogg has moved into the role of Lotame global head of platform sales, working with the company’s regional managing directors and sales executives to align the global organization and to increase leverage in platform, data, and identity solutions.
