ActiveCampaign And Slack Team Up To Support The Customer Experience

Customer experience platform Active Campaign is working with Slack in an extended arrangement to fuel marketing via the ActiveCampaign app for Slack while providing two-way discounts to clients.

Slack customers are being offered 20% off one year of ActiveCampaign.

In addition, ActiveCampaign clients are offered 30% off by Slack to help brands with their plans for business.

Businesses can use the ActiveCampaign app for Slack to improve their customer support with automated ticket management alerts, the company says.

In addition, the app can help them drive more sales with automated qualification messages to representatives and trace contacts’ actions with automated campaign reporting, it adds.

The arrangement allows joint customers to have “immediate visibility into their customers’ experience, and take action to improve the experience, fostering greater connection,” states Shay Howe, SVP of platform strategy at ActiveCampaign.

By combining ActiveCampaign and Slack, businesses can automate everyday tasks, giving them time focus on more important tasks like talking to customers, ActiveCampaign adds.

Go! Running Tours has utilized the ActiveCampaign app for Slack.

“Our city tour guides have developed a really strong community amongst themselves via Slack which has been great to see,” says Lena Anderssen, founder and CEO of Go! Running Tours. “Because our lead guides and city managers are all connected on Slack, they all know each other.”

Anderssen adds that when “a client runs in Madrid and goes to Barcelona four days later, the tour guides Phillip and Mattia have already spoken on Slack and say hey, ‘I heard you had a great run with Phillip.’ That makes people feel welcome and that they are actually seen as a guest.”

ActiveCampaign combines email marketing, marketing automation and CRM for segmentation and personalization across social, email, messaging, chat and text, the company says.
