Microsoft Advertising will expand its presence in the Latin America region through a partnership agreement with IMS by Aleph, which supports digital advertising globally.
The exclusive agreement -- which will be effective May 1, 2023 -- spans all of Latin America and the Caribbean, excluding Brazil, and is intended to accelerate growth for Microsoft Advertising in the region.
With this partnership, IMS becomes the preferred company in Latin America to market and support advertisers in the region to develop Microsoft Advertising campaigns, across search, audience and shopping products.
“This alliance is part of our vision to unlock the economic potential of Latin America through digital marketing, in this case with performance ads, which have enormous value for multiple industries such as retail, e-commerce, tourism, finance, insurance, among others," stated Ignacio Vidaguren, COO of Aleph and responsible for the business in Latin America.
It will give advertisers full support to access a growing audience of more than 1 billion people -- more than 66 million PC searchers across Latin America.
With billions of monthly searches, Microsoft Advertising’s strength in Windows and PC includes more than 200 million unique PC searchers worldwide, across 164 total markets.
In Latin America, there are approximately 900 million searches per month, with 66 million unique PC users searching across 28 markets, according to ComScore global data, December 2022.
