Marketers can apply generative AI technology to creation of text messages with a new tool from Listrak.

The new offering, AI Assistant, is powered by OpenAI and integrated into Listrak’s SMS editor. 

It works as follows: Users paste a link into the editor and the platform reads the content on the linked page and generates context-specific message recommendations, the company says. 

Brands can select a tone of voice from available options or add unique prompts, it adds. 

In addition, users can include an image in their messages. When enabled, the AI Assistant will search to pull a featured product image from the linked page and convert the message to an MMS format, Listrak says.

AI Assistant also “empowers businesses to explore new creative territories and experiment with different messaging strategies,” says Ross Kramer, CEO, Listrak.
