Amazon DSP Intros Its 1st Interactive Ads, Via PadSquad

Amazon Ads has partnered with PadSquad to offer interactive ads for the first time, using the Amazon ad server on the Amazon demand-side-platform (DSP).

Marketers can access PadSquad’s interactive creative units in the Amazon DSP and serve them via PadSquad’s premium publisher inventory.

PadSquad built a suite of interactive ad formats from the ground up for optimal performance within Amazon DSP, using insights from its highest-performing ads in the retail and CPG verticals.

The formats include interactive elements such as product cards, browsable visual stories, haptic ad interactions and reactive scroll technology.

Standing out has become “exponentially more difficult” due to brands’ increased use of Amazon and other retailer networks, and rich media/interactive ad formats have been shown to enhance campaign performance significantly, according to PadSquad and Amazon.
