Samsung Electronics unveiled technology powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that brings Click to Search and Live Translation to Samsung's smart TVs for a better search and viewing experience.
Click to Search is Samsung's version of Google’s Circle to Search feature for its TVs. It offers additional information about the content on the screen, such as identifying an actor or exploring displayed content, without disrupting the viewing experience.
Samsung plans to work closely with Google to expand what Vision AI can do.
For now, in collaboration with Microsoft at CES 2025 in Las Vegas on Monday, Samsung announced the new Smart TVs and Smart Monitors featuring Microsoft Copilot.
Through the collaboration with Microsoft, Smart Monitor (M9) offers the Copilot service, which will search for information related to the content being viewed and provide content recommendations. It intends to introduce various AI services, including Copilot, into TV products in the future.

AI has been integrated into Samsung’s latest TVs to deliver personalized experiences.
The AI support in the Samsung Vision AI screen acts as a central hub. This is done through the integration with the SmartThings ecosystem to provide real-time updates about the household’s environment, such as safety alerts and daily updates when the homeowner is not home.
A feature that Samsung calls Pet and Family Care keeps an eye on things such as detecting unusual behavior in both pets and family members. It can automatically adjust room settings, like dimming the lights when a child falls asleep, and provides real-time updates and recorded events through TVs
The company also made the screen look more like art and less like technology by expanding on its commitment to the Samsung Art Store, which now features more than 3,000 curated works from global partners such as MoMA and the estates of Magritte and Basquiat.
