Cowboys, movie stars and additional colorful characters (unfortunately, not the brand’s famous founder) come together in a new global ad campaign for Casamigos Tequila.
"Anything Goes with My Casamigos," created in partnership with the brand’s creative agency Accomplice and director Alex Prager, “celebrates unexpected connection and friendship, highlighting the ease and approachability of the brand.”
Casamigos was originally founded in 2013 by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Michael Meldman. The brand was sold to Diageo for $1 billion in 2017.
In the hero spot “House of Friends,” seen here, an eccentric menagerie of upper-crust folk are gathered at what appears to be a colorful hip Mediterranean hotel. “They say there are no strangers, just friends you are yet to meet,” a voiceover says as a light-blue-tuxedoed hotel concierge greets guests. As they socialize in the pool, play tennis with limes, and lounge about the grounds, there is one thing they all have in common: an array of Casamigos cocktails.

“Casamigos has always been warm and inviting – from its name, which means house of friends, to the versatile and inviting nature of its liquid,” said Sophie Kelly global head of Agave Spirits, in a release. “The new campaign stands out within the tequila category and invites people into a world full of character, celebrating the promise of adventure.”
Some of the more colorful characters in the spot -- The Cowboy, The Movie Star and The Big Shot -- are featured in more films in a series running on Casamigos’s social media platforms.
The campaign’s hero spot, along with social and digital assets, will run across North and Central America, Australia, Great Britain and European markets on linear and streaming TV, digital and OOH.
The brand has also recently been named the official tequila supporter in North America for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
