Snap is launching performance tools ahead of the
holiday shopping season, merging "Dynamic Product Ads" and "Sponsored Snaps," while introducing various campaign optimization updates.
First, Snap’s “Commerce Power Pack” is bringing AI-powered product recommendations to Sponsored Snaps, allowing advertisers to surface catalog product ads to consumers
directly in the platform’s Chat hub – the most used interface on the app.
According to the company, 85% of users utilize Chat regularly.
Since launching Sponsored Snaps in early 2024, the ad format has been
successful – driving 22% more conversions with almost 20% lower cost per action, and 2x more conversions per full-screen ad view compared to other inventories, according to the company's
internal findings.

The integration of DPAs to Sponsored Snaps comes after the company introduced automated chatbot ads to Chat, and an announcement covering the revamping of DPA with a new
class of agentic recommendation models focused on synthesizing user behavior, real-time user intent, and other signals to surface the most relevant products based on specific consumers.
In attempts to improve advertiser’s in-app abilities during the holidays, Snap is also testing new optimization offerings.
Snap’s value optimization feature -- currently in beta -- allows campaigns to optimize for ROAS and can be used in tandem with the platform’s unified attribution model, which provides access to
cross-channel metrics from native ad metrics and third-party partners within a single Ads Manager tab.
Web
advertisers can also try third-party web optimization, which merges first- and third-party signals. Snap’s announcement states that Google Analytics reported a 23% lower third-party CPP and 37%
higher third-party ROAS while using the feature in open beta.
Finally, omnichannel optimization -- currently in alpha testing -- is designed to capture
purchases across Snap’s web and app platforms within a single campaign based on where a shopper is most likely to convert.
