• Yahoo Grabs AOL Exec
    Jai Singh, most recently managing editor of the Huffington Post Media Group, has joined Yahoo as editor-in-chie of its media network. In that newly- created role, he will "help transform the company as it increases its original content creation, build the unique voice and programming of Yahoo's leading properties, and help drive best-in-class tools and practices," according to a Yahoo statement.     Your local drug store really wants to take your temperature: Leading chains are stepping up the pace of new services offered in their retail clinics, in an attempt to woo new patients with their convenience. Walgreens just announced that it will now have daily testing available for cholesterol and blood glucose at more than 1,400 pharmacies in 33 states--with each test coming with a free-blood pressure screening. MinuteClinic, the CVS-owned clinic that is currently the largest provider of retail-based medical services in the U.S., now says it will offer Vitamin B-12 injections and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. …
