Public Broadcasting, NCME Launch Story Portal

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Center for Media Engagement have launched an interactive story portal that educates users about public media's commitment to community engagement. It also allows public television and radio stations to discover opportunities for collaboration and partnerships across the country. The story portal builds on NCME's Public Media Maps feature by aggregating more than 300 stories to better illustrate public media's local impact. Users can create "mash-ups" of different data sets, juxtaposing these stories with activity in other sectors to identify opportunities for increased content sharing around topics such as health care, the economy and education.
