Veteran business journalist, editor, and publisher Larry Kramer is joining TheStreet’s board of directors, the online business news publisher announced Monday. Among Kramer’s many previous ventures, he founded and led CBS MarketWatch, and most recently served as president and publisher of USA Today; he continues to serve as a board member at USA Today publisher Gannett. TheStreet Inc. Chairman and CEO Ms. Elisabeth DeMarse stated: “Larry possesses a unique combination of experience in financial content and subscription businesses, as well as digital media M&A, that will be a tremendous asset to the Company as we transform TheStreet into a company with proprietary products that operate with a valuable recurring revenue model.”
