Comscore Inks Deals With AMC, A+E For Cross-Platform Video Solution

Comscore has added A+E Networks and AMC Networks as beta partners for the measurement firm’s Comscore Campaign Ratings solution.

CCR, as the company calls it, is a cross-platform video advertising solution designed to provide unduplicated campaign measurement across TV, OTT, mobile and desktop.

CCR already counts Hulu as its streaming measurement partner, with NBCUniversal, Disney, CBS, Fox, Turner and Viacom also on board as beta partners. The CCR beta program launched in September.

The deals with AMC and A+E expand CCR’s measurement of cable channels; many are now available through streaming bundles. AMC Networks owns AMC, IFC and BBC America, among other channels, while A+E Networks owns A&E, History and Lifetime, among other channels.

Cross-platform video ad campaign measurement has become a hot-button issue for both media buyers and sellers. Consumers are quickly embracing new technologies and streaming platforms to watch their favorite video programming. But with fragmented viewership came fragmented measurement.

CCR is one of the measurement products on the market hoping to tackle that measurement gap.
