Springbot Acquires Matcha, Marrying Content And Multichannel Capabilities

Springbot, a marketing automation and attribution platform, has acquired Matcha, a blogging capability for ecommerce brands, Springbot announced on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed. 

The deal combines Matcha's blog creations and content analytics functions with Springbot's email, social, ad and SMS capabilities, Springbot says. 

In addition, the combination will enable Springbot to “marry customer data, channel action and content for our customers," states Brooks Robinson, co-founder and CEO, Springbot. 

The offering is primarily focused on small retailers. 

Springbot will support existing Matcha customers while investing and integrating Matcha’s product capability into the Springbot platform, the firm says.

In addition, the Matcha team is now joining Springbot.
