MonetizeMore Acquires Ad-Tech Platform Advanced Ads

MonetizeMore, a global ad-monetization partner for web publishers and app developers that landed a spot on The Globe and Mail's list of Canada's top-growing companies, has acquired Advanced Ads, an ad-tech platform that specializes in advanced advertising management tools and plugins for WordPress publishers.

In addition to strengthening its publisher offering, the company says the acquisition will allow it to expand advertising-optimization solutions by including specific Advanced Ads features such as flexible ad injection and the ability to target based on the user or page content, with no coding skills required.

MonetizeMore was founded in 2010 and currently has almost 300 team members across North America, Europe, Asia and South America. The company says it uses PubGuru, an AI-powered platform, to manage web publishers' ad revenue across 40 countries.

“We will remain selective in making strategic acquisitions and partnerships with organizations that also empower ad-monetized publishers,” says Kean Graham, CEO and founder of MonetizeMore.

Founded in 2014, Advanced Ads currently powers over 150,000 websites across the globe via a range of features such as ad scheduling and a variety of ad placement options.

The acquisition is immediate, and the integration between both platforms will “begin soon.” MonetizeMore says that it will continue to support Advanced Ads’ existing customers and introduce them to its PubGuru platform, as well as other tools, including Traffic Cop, which protects publishers from invalid traffic and revenue clawbacks.
