'Boston Globe' Premieres Weekday TV Program

Boston Globe Media and New England Sports Network have debuted "Boston Globe Today," a weekday news and sports program. It appeared for the first time on Tuesday. 

The half-hour show will be recorded from a new, state-of-the-art broadcast studio in The Boston Globe’s downtown newsroom. It can be seen from Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. ET on NESN, the NESN 360 app, the Globe’s app, and on Globe.com.

The program is available for live streaming and video-on-demand. 

"Boston Globe Today"will focus on news with host Segun Odoulowu from Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, Boston Globe sports columnist Christopher Gasper will serve as anchor.  

The show "will provide compelling news coverage and in-depth exploration of the major stories in the region,” said Sean McGrail, NESN President & CEO.

The Globe states that viewers can access NESN 360 by direct subscription or authentication with their TV provider by downloading the app or visiting NESN360.com.  

It adds that the NESN 360 app is available on all major devices.
