LinkedIn data found that 87% of respondents
in the United States say working for an organization with shared values and cultural commitments is important, with 71% saying this is true even in an uncertain economy.
The company on
Wednesday launched a job-search filter designed to make it easier for job seekers to discover opportunities that align with their values.
The filter identifies open positions at organizations
committed to culture and values such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), career growth and learning, work-life balance, social impact and environmental sustainability.
LinkedIn users can
assign Job Alerts for these value-based searches and notified when a relevant role opens.
Data from a survey conducted in February confirms the need for this type of search feature.
The LinkedIn February 2023 survey of more than 1,500 U.S. respondents ages 18 to 76 found that 85% say it is important to be “culturally compatible” with the company they work for, with
39% saying this is extremely important and essential.
