BTS REWIND: One Major League Soccer CMO's True Calling

Behind the Scenes with Radhika Duggal

Major League Soccer's Radhika Duggal talks CMO resilience, welcoming feedback, and what keeps a huge smile on her face walking down NYC streets.

I've had the opportunity to connect with and learn from executives of major brands at MediaPost's Insider Summits. In the process I've discovered some truly impressive women -- not only for the work they do, but their stories behind the scenes. With Brand Insider: BTS, I get to pull back the curtain on some of the most influential women marketers as they talk about their path to success: the twists and turns, obstacles, inspirations and the valuable lessons learned along the way.

Radhika Duggal is definitely not shy, but prefers to speak when she can make an impact. Having held senior marketing positions at various Fortune 100 companies; including Deloitte, Pfizer, JP Morgan Chase, and at the time of this interview, Super.com. Today the innovative executive is continuing to make an impact, now serving as SVP, CMO for Major League Soccer. In this episode of Brand Insider: BTS, Radhika explains that instead of being the loudest person in the room, being the most intentional one is the better path. She also shares a behavior learned from her mother— one she's now passing on to her daughter— the value of staying connected, and even opens up about a very embarrassing collapsing incident. Spoiler alert...it turns out okay! You can watch the entire conversation here:
