In a year dominated by generative -- and agentive -- AI, it was a story about the good old metaverse that was the most-read "Media3.0" column of 2024.
Colin Kirkland's about virtual metaverse world "The Sandbox" was No. 1, followed closely by Code & Theory team David DiCamillo's and Anil Hari's practical how-to advice about dealing with AI-generated hallucinations, which ranked No. 2. (Or did it?)
On a more practical note, many of the top 3.0 columns were about innovations led by agencies, including IPG's Engine, Kinesso Commerce, Omnicom's Artbot, and Native Foreign's Sora Test-Drive (which led to the first Sora-generated ad for Toys"R"Us, which was the buzz at this year's Cannes festival).

A number of "3.know" video conversations also ranked high, but overall, Web3, the metaverse and related subject matter did not. There's always 2025 though.
