The latest campaign for Dunkin’s new $6 Meal Deal highlights that the meal, as well as several attractive male celebrities, are anything but just a “snack.”
The spot, seen here, stars James Marsden, Charles Melton, Tramell Tillman, Gavin Casalegno and Dylan Efron, celebs (mostly actors) who have all been referred to at some point as a “snack.” That’s the millennial term for “someone who looks good at the moment,” but isn’t someone to take very seriously, per the Urban Dictionary. As the men order, each experiences an existential crisis in the drive-thru, wondering why they are so easily dismissed.
“No one asks about my dreams. They just care about my skin-care routine,” whines a distraught Melton (“Riverdale,”), leaning back against the car seat cushions as if in a therapist’s office. “I was once described as hauntingly symmetrical,” laments Tillman (known for “Severance.”)

“I rescued a dog once…I wonder what happened to that dog,” ponders James Marsden (most recently in “Paradise.”)
The men are all brought back down to earth by comedian (and self-proclaimed “almost therapist”) Zarna Garg, who is working the drive-thru window. “Excuse me, I’m not your therapist,” she says. “You’re at Dunkin’. And this is not a snack -- it’s the $6 Meal Deal…Six bucks! Cheaper than therapy.”
The spot was directed by comedian and filmmaker Paul Scheer and is running nationally as well as online and on Dunkin’s social platforms.
The new $6 meal deal contains a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich, hash browns and a medium hot or iced coffee, and is available all day.
