eWeek, rewrites the apps’ code with HTML5 and accelerates the apps to improve the user experience. Greycroft Partners just closed its second fund. Limited Brands, the Columbus, Ohio-based parent of Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, is expanding internationally. In Canada, it will create a new company, Limited Brands Canada, based in Montreal, to oversee strategic expansion there, including La Senza, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret Pink and Victoria's Secret, which will launch later this year. Joanne Nemeroff, currently president of La Senza, its Canadian lingerie chain, will also be president of the new company. Additionally, the company announced a franchise partnership with M.H. The Del Taco restaurant chain has introduced a new, Santa Fe version of one of its most popular items, the Chicken Soft Taco. The Santa Fe version features the chain’s signature marinated grilled chicken, lettuce and cheddar cheese, plus a new roasted corn and black bean salsa sauce with a “kick.� The item, priced at $1.49, will be on Del Taco’s menu for a limited time. With ESPN receiving affiliate fees for its ESPN3.com, it's willing to stream live NBA playoff games on the site in full. TNT has rights for online streaming, too. But perhaps looking not to pique cable/satellite/telco TV distributors, it's not going as far -- per its usual practice.
