    TiVo this morinng officially announced its acquistiton of single-source audience measurement researcher TRA. Terms of the deal, which was first reported Monday in MediaDailyNews, were not disclosed.
  • Omnicom Revenues Up 2.1% in Q2 With 5.1% Organic Growth
    Omnicom Group reported a 2.1% gain in revenue for the second quarter to a little more than $3.5 billion with a 2.8% net income gain to $283 million. That was slightly better than the consensus estimate on Wall Street which was forecasting a 1.5% revenue gain for the group. Organic revenue growth for the period was up 5.1%. In the U.S., the holding company posted a 4.5% revenue gain to $1.86 billion.
