Monterey Bay Aquarium Gets Social

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a new campaign, "Share the love." Besides TV, radio, print and Internet creative, there are also in social media components on Facebook and Twitter plus an experiential vector comprising a branded aquarium truck rolling to San Francisco, Sacramento and other Calif. cities. The road show has an interactive video screen, a "virtual aquarium dive adventure."

Passers-by with smartphones who download a mobile application can play an interactive game and earn badges that can be posted on Facebook. Posters for the aquarium are being bicycled around the San Francisco Bay area by cyclists working a company, Team Cycad USA.
