Apple CEO Tim Cook said deeply personal data is being “weaponized against us with military efficiency,” and denounced what he called the “data industrial complex” in a speech in Brussels on Wednesday. He praised GDPR, and called for “a comprehensive federal privacy law” in the U.S.
