How The 'Future 40' Are Transforming Real-Time Marketing

Programmatic continues to be one of several emerging technologies that are reshaping marketing and media-buying into the near future, according to a new report released today by R3. Dubbed “Future 40,” the report identifies 40 companies across new marketing technologies the firm believes the ad industry should consider hedging on, including I Pin You, an indigenous demand-side platform in China that is delivering better results than imported foreign DSPs.

The report drills into 12 broad categories of emerging marketing technologies -- including AI, AR/VR, blockchain, chatbots, etc. -- which are all likely to impact real-time marketing and media buying in some way, directly or indirectly (see below).
