NBCU Stations' Advanced Ad Group Strikes CTV, OTT Ad Inventory Deal With Mediaocean

NBCU owned TV stations’ advanced advertising group NBC Spot On, which sells local/regional CTV and OTT inventory, has made a deal for its inventory to be available on Mediaocean, a media-buying software platform for U.S. media agencies.

The deal with Mediaocean allows media buyers to buy NBCU stations’ OTT inventory alongside traditional TV, without having to alter their current workflow.

Mediaocean’s Spectra platform offers media planning, buying, and selling tools, as well as invoicing and payment functions. Globally, Mediaocean processes $150 billion in media spending annually.

Among other features, the deal will allow OTT/CTV advertisers to manage campaigns across all U.S. DMAs and to audience target/geotarget their campaigns as well as gain access to long-form premium inventory.
