Publicis Grew 5% In Q3, Maintains Full-Year Outlook

Publicis Groupe reported another strong quarter of growth for the period ended Sept. 30, generating net revenue of 3.8 billion euros (about $4.3 billion) -- up 7.9% on a reported basis with 5% organic growth, which excludes currency and M&A.

For the first nine months of the year, revenue totaled 11 billion euros ($12 billion) -- up 3.3% on a reported basis -- and organic growth of 4.8%.

Company shares were up just over 2% on the Paris Exchange in mid-day trading, with most investors and analysts expecting the strong results revealed by the Groupe.

The company said it was on track to achieve previously stated full-year guidance of between 4.5% and 5% organic growth.

In Q3, Connected Media (including media, commerce, CRM and influencer marketing), represented 62% of the Groupe’s total net revenue and posted a high-single-digit gain in the period.

The gains were driven by increased market share, rising demand for AI products and growth in new addressable markets, the company said.

The firm’s Intelligent Creativity segment (creative, PR, production and content creation) representing 25% of net revenue, delivered low-single-digit growth, fueled by new business and clients contracting for additional services.

Technology services (digital transformation, customer experience and technology and engineering), representing 13% of net revenue, was down by low single digits, which the company attributed to client caution toward spending on major capex-intensive enterprise projects.

The company said that caution was partly due to “unimproved macroeconomic visibility,” including Middle East strife.

But Publicis noted some quarterly improvement in the segment and said year-over-year growth is expected to return in the fourth quarter.

Advertising and marketing advisory Madison & Wall noted that the Groupe’s technology services segment “continues to serve as a drag on the overall results.”

But the firm also stated “we agree with management’s assertions that [transformation services unit] Sapienthas strategic value to the overall company, and so arguably assessing growth on a stand-alone basis is not as important as looking at Publicis’ total business."

By region in Q3, the U.S., accounting for 59% of total net revenue was up 4.5% this quarter, on top of a very high comparable of +7.1% in Q3 2025. The firm said growth was fueled by both media and creative while technology returned to growth during the period. The entire North America region was up 4.4%.

Europe was up 4.7%, Asia-Pacific grew 5.4%, and China reached double-digit growth with a 10.6% gain. The Middle East & Africa was down 1.4%, and Latin America was up 23.8%.

“This was our 25th quarter of outperformance, and thanks to our unique ability to connect data, technology and talent through the Power of One, we are confident in confirming our full-year guidance for 2026 and in outperforming the market for the eighth consecutive year in 2027,” stated company CEO Arthur Sadoun.

“Looking even further ahead,” Sadoun added, "the reshaping of our industry around three global players [Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and WPP] is creating favorable conditions for our future growth. With our differentiated model and continued investment in the talent and capabilities our clients need to transform their business for the AI era, Publicis is uniquely equipped to benefit from this new competitive landscape.”
