Only two years with The Tribune Co., and veteran television executive Ed Wilson has departed. Tribune Company was already in trouble with its failing newspaper operations when Wilson took over as president of Tribune Broadcasting in February 2008. Then the fall 2008 brought on a crushing recession that hit Tribune's TV station operations as well. Last year Wilson added new responsibilities as chief revenue and sales officer of The Tribune Co.
