    Like many publishers, The Guardian is considering the implications of the ad-blocking boom. “The biggest news for media owners in the UK last week was that a phone company, Three, is introducing adblocking across its network,’ it writes. “Essentially this means that if you have a Three mobile phone, you will no longer see ads on the articles and pages you look at on your phone.”
  • Amazon Planning Big Brick-And-Mortar Push
    Amazon plans to open up to 400 bookstores around the country, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing comments from Sandeep Mathrani, chief executive of mall operator General Growth Properties. “That plan compares to the 640 stores Barnes & Noble operates and the 255 locations Books-A-Million Inc. said it had as of last summer,” WSJ notes.
