    Tribune Publishing is testing some software from SolidOpinion.com, which monetizes the comment sections of its online publications. “Readers can earn points, which can be used to buy more prominent placement for their comments at the end of news stories, by posting comments, visiting the site regularly, or spending real money,” Bloomberg Technology reports. 
  • Microsoft's Edge Browser To Offer More Flash Control
    As part of Microsoft’s Windows 10 Anniversary update, this summer, its Edge browser is expected to give users more control over Flash content. Yet, “Microsoft's ultimate goal remains to get developers and users to transition away from Flash, towards newer open Web standards like RTC, Web Audio, and Canvas,” ZDNet reports. “Over time, Microsoft plans to add further user controls for Flash.”
