Free advertising-supported channel Pluto TV is starting up a new
segment of its brand advertising campaign featuring Drew Barrymore and her syndicated daytime talk show, “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
The original campaign was launched in October
with the tagline “Stream Now. Pay Never” to highlight its focus on the FAST (Free, Ad-Supported TV) service for consumers.
The effort will include three TV commercial spots. It
will officially launch December 16th in the U.S. and will run internationally on Pluto TV beginning in 2023.
On December 15, during Barrymore’s talk show, she will gift everyone in
the audience a free LG 50" smart TV.
Pluto TV is now generating over $1 billion in revenue per year, according to parent company Paramount Global.
Original media placed for the
campaign include out-of-home, social media, digital, and linear TV platform messaging using Paramount Global TV based properties -- “SpongeBob SquarePants”, “Star Trek: The Next
Generation”, “CSI: Miami,” and others.

TV's “core value proposition” to audiences.
Since January 2022, Barrymore's talk show has had its own dedicated channel on Pluto TV -- 'Best of The Drew Barrymore
Show.”
Over the past 12 months, Pluto TV brand has spent $4.7 million in national TV advertising, pulling in 6.7 billion impressions according to iSpot.tv.
Many of those
TV impressions came from daytime daytime programming -- including “The Price Is Right” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” as well as syndicated airings of “Mom” and
