BTS REWIND: How This Tenore Exec Continues To Make The Impossible Possible

Behind the Scenes with Natalie Gomez

Tenore's Natalie Gomez talks finding the courage to raise her hand, failing up and being a voice of change.

I've had the opportunity to connect with and learn from executives of major brands at MediaPost's Insider Summits. In the process I've discovered some truly impressive women, and not only for the work they do but their stories behind the scenes. With Brand Insider: BTS, I get to pull back the curtain on some of the most influential women marketers as they talk about their path to success: the twists and turns, obstacles, inspirations and the valuable lessons learned along the way.

I had the pleasure of talking with Natalie Gomez, formerly Guzman, in January 2022 when she was the co-president & CMO of Savage X Fenty: Lingerie by Rihanna. Now GM & CMO at Tenore, she has since been recognized on Forbes’ 50 Entrepreneurial CMO list, Business Insider’s Most Innovative CMO list, Glossy’s Top Marketer list, and as one of Campaign US Top 50 CMO’s. None of this surprises me. She was so genuine and inspiring, I had no doubt Natalie would continue to shine. In this episode of Brand Insider: BTS, Natalie talks about growing-up the daughter of Filipino immigrants, its impact on her as a woman of color and the responsibility she now feels to be a voice for change. She opens up about stepping out of her comfort zone and forcing herself to raise her hand to be heard. If you missed it the first time, it's a conversation worth watching AND rewatching again! You can check out the entire video above.
