Thanking All Veterans For Their Service

USAA, a financial services company that offers insurance, banking, and investment products exclusively to members of the military and their families, has launched a marketing campaign and initiative that comes with a promise to invest $500 million during the next five years to drive change wherever it is needed most for the military community.

The movement, “Honor Through Action,” aims to ensure that veterans and their families are honored year round, beyond Veterans Day.

The funds will go to support the careers, financial security and well being of those who have served and their families.

The USAA is bringing together public and private partners to increase the impact of this movement across legislative, regulatory, nonprofit, industry and community sectors, with the goal of creating solutions to help the U.S. military thrive.

The marketing campaign includes sponsored national broadcast segments with ABC and CBS, social-media content with support from athletes and creators, local broadcast segments across the country, and content on USA TODAY.

The campaign also will run on Front Office Sports and a military trade publication, and Honor Through Action.

Honor Through Action is USAA's call to stand with the military community, alongside private, public and nonprofit partners, the company said, and is a way to show gratitude for years of service.

USAA was founded in 1922 by a group of military officers.

In unrelated news, here's a special shout out to Austin Holmes, a Navy Special Operations veteran turned entrepreneur, who founded Signal Raptor, an AI-powered PR platform, to help small small businesses created by those who served become known.

Holmes shares with other veterans how military precision and teamwork have shaped his approach to leadership, technology innovation, and building a purpose-driven business. His company is part of a growing wave of veteran-owned technology companies redefining the meaning of entrepreneurship.

For those who served in the United States Marine Corps, "oorah" in honor of the service branch's birthday on Monday.

And Happy Veterans Day, with gratitude and recognition to all those who have served and to their families.
