Pinterest has announced the return of its “Inclusion Fund,” an ongoing program designed to offer monetary and educational support to up-and-coming creators from a diverse range of backgrounds who are utilizing the platform’s “inclusive features.”

The Inclusion Fund, now in its sixth year, is open to creators who publish content across the beauty, fashion and lifestyle spaces.

Accepted creators will gain access to grants meant to assist with content production, as well as training and resources to help them grow their personal brands on Pinterest.

According to the company's announcement, Pinterest is looking for applicants whose content channels have inclusive features and promote “skin tone ranges, hair pattern search and body type ranges” within the platform's recommendations algorithm.

First introduced in 2024, these search features can be used by creators and users to filter beauty and fashion results across multiple skin shade options, hair styles, and body type via the company's “body type technology,” which uses shape, size and form to identify various body types across the billions of images on the platform.

Internal findings from Pinterest show that people using these search features saved 75% more Pins than those who did not, which the company posits as a reason for creators who want to appeal to more users to apply to the Inclusion Fund.

Accepted creators will also gain access to Pinterest’s “Create Community,” an initiative that offers early insight into monthly trends, exclusive content challenges, and more.

This year, the Fund is available across the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, India, Australia and for the first time, New Zealand. Not included in this year's selection are Colombia, Argentina, Japan and Indonesia -- markets listed in last year's initiative.
