Spotlight Cinema Adds Cinepolis' Luxury Screens To Network, Includes NYC's Chelsea

Spotlight Cinema Networks, a cinema advertising operator specializing in "luxury cinemas" and "iconic art house" theaters, has added 88 screens from Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas' to its network.

The addition, which includes eight theater locations in key DMAs such as New York and Los Angeles, brings Spotlight's representation of Cinépolis to 218 screens in 23 locations, and brings Spotlight's total U.S. coverage to more than 1,200 screens at nearly 300 locations across the top 25 states.

A key strategic component of this extension is Cinépolis Chelsea in New York City.

“Although many advertisers took a break from cinema advertising in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as vaccinations become more widespread, we’re looking forward to the reemergence of cinema experiences nationwide with Cinépolis as a key component to our strategy," stated Spotlight President Michael Sakin.
