Security issues around the Internet of Things are not going away anytime soon, if ever. Products don't have adequate security and neither do people, at least in the eyes of security experts. Almost half (47%) of security executives estimate that fewer than 10% of IoT products are designed with adequate security, according to a recent survey.

It's obvious there are a lot of mobile phones in the world. A bit over 7 billion, actually, based on the number of mobile subscriptions. While that's a large number of connected devices, it's about to be passed by the number of connected things that make up the Internet of Things.
