Attorney Jack Goodman says some of his CBS TV station clients say they will likely delay broadcast of the CBS documentary "9/11" until after 10 p.m., given concerns about the language and the Federal Communications Commission's response to it. The documentary has aired uncut twice before, and includes profanities uttered in the heat of the moment. While CBS has said it expects no problems with the FCC, some stations aren't so sure. Another CBS-affiliated station is considering feeding the show live to cable to air in its regular time period, but will delay its own broadcast until after 10 p.m. …

Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer once warned Americans and the media that "they need to watch what they say, watch what they do." Now, it turns out, the military is going to be watching for us. Forbes reports that "the U.S. command in Baghdad is seeking bidders for a two-year, $20 million public relations contract that calls for monitoring the tone of Iraq news stories filed by U.S. and foreign media." Proposals, due Sept. 6, ask companies to show how they'll "provide continuous monitoring and near-real time reporting of Iraqi, pan-Arabic, international and U.S. media," according to the …
