E! Entertainment Television is pulling the plug on Paris Hilton, deciding to skip the renewal of "The Simple Life," the reality show starring the jailbird heiress and one-time pal Nicole Richie. The show first popped up on Fox in 2003, with the pair of Hollywood kids working on a farm. But after three seasons, Fox said enough and the show was relegated to the cable net for two more. The last episode is slated for Saturday, and features the season finale of Richie and Hilton as drama-camp counselors.

TBS pulled better numbers for the return of "My Boys" on Monday, averaging about 1.6 million viewers for back-to-back episodes of the scripted comedy, according to Nielsen Cable Fast. The first topped the show's season one premiere by 4% in adults 18-34, while episode two bettered the same by 8%. The boost may help the marketing campaign targeted at a young, female audience, as the median age for the two shows was just 29--eight years younger than the show's first season average. TNT also did solid ratings for "Saving Grace," with an average 5.37 million viewers. …
