He was co-owner, CEO and co-publisher of the Daily News from 1993 to 2004. In 1985, he acquired U.S. News & World Report and remained CEO and co-chairman until 2004.

It adds that the damage from programmatic advertising is real and visible. Ads slow the site down, cause security vulnerabilities for the publication's readers, and interrupt the process of reading.

President Trump has warned an unnamed news organization and reporters to reveal the name of a leaker who allegedly revealed details about a U.S. airman who went missing after his fighter jet was shot down., The Washington Post reports. “They didn’t know there was somebody missing until this leaker gave the information,” Trump said on Monday. “So whoever it was, we think we’ll be able to find it out because we’re going to go to the media company that released it, and we’re going to say, national security, give it up or go to jail.”

A total of $35.7 million was spent on advertising on 11 such sites between 2021 and 2024. The study was conducted with NewsGuard.

Jeff Shell may be leaving his post as president of Paramount Skydance, depending on the outcome of preliminary talks between his legal team and the company, Variety reports. Shell was sued in March by R.J. Cipriani, a professional gambler who claims to be owed $150 million for crisis communications services. Cipriani also charges that Shell shared his belief that Paramount is overpaying for Warner Bros. Discovery. If he remains, Shell will most likely move to a more advisory role.
