The Detroit Tigers and eight other MLB teams are leaving Main Street Sports Group, Detroit Free Press reports. The teams include the Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals and Tampa Bay Rays. The Tigers are expected to move to MLB Media, and their broadcasting rights will now be owned by the league.

The Pentagon has defended the limitations on news media that it imposed last October, answering a lawsuit filed by The New York Times. The policy, which requires journalists to sign a 21-page document that would restrict their activities, is to“secure the Pentagon and stop activity that could compromise national security,” the filing said, the Times reports.
