    Shares of sector conglomerates are up across the board for the first three months of 2010, except for a minimal decline at CBS Corp., and most outperformed the broad-based S&P 500 stock index.   • Hulu May Adopt Subscription Model
    Hulu, a joint venture of NBC, News Corp and Disney, is coming under pressure from the companies that supply its content. They want Hulu to earn more ad dollars and set up a subscription service, asking consumers to pay a monthly fee to watch some of the shows on the site. The site says it is open to the idea, which may be tested via the iPad app. Hulu's 200 content suppliers, some big and some small, receive 50% to 70% of the ad revenue Hulu generates from their videos.   • Bravo Turns TV Shows Into Multiplatform Games
    Bravo is planning an expansion into the iPhone and online game business. The network has three games readied, based on its "Top Chef" and "Real Housewives." All will be playable at BravoTV.com, with the Real Housewives game also available for download in the iTunes App Store. The games will be ad-supported when they launch, as well as Facebook Connect enabled. The first game, "Top Chef Food Fight," will launch in April, and lets users put their pix on top of former "cheftestants" bodies, earning points and badges as they make a mess in the kitchen.   • MTV Creates Web Site For Young Men
    MTV is developing a new blog aimed at the coveted young male demographic, though the name of the blog and its launch date is under wraps. The site is expected to include sports, pop culture, gadgets, entertainment and sex. MTV is going for an irreverent voice with the new blog. The move by MTV.com comes as sister network MTV 2 hopes to capture more of a young male audience with dedicated programming. MTV does, however, face many rives for the dude-targeted media. There are digital offshoots of "Maxim," while AOL has built a similarly themed male blog.

    CBS and ABC are adapting episodes of their TV shows to be viewed for on Apple Inc.'s new iPad, according to sources, offering Apple new TV content as it prepares for the multimedia gadget's Saturday release. The two U.S. networks are planning to stream their TV shows over the Internet with commercial breaks, similar to on their existing Web sites. CBS plans to stream episodes of TV shows through the iPad's built-in Web browser, while ABC plans to stream its shows in an iPad application.
