Auto Recalls Just Background Noise

It's not just GM. There have been so many recalls this year by various automakers that it's just so much background noise. Besides GM's big recall — or maybe because of it — others have announced some 47 recalls so far this year, covering 8.54 million U.S. vehicles, according to government records. Studies show the recalls have no effect on the value of the recalled cars or sales.
