BBC Is Expanding, Hiring In The U.S.

Publishing job seekers have a new opportunity: the BBC is hiring. “Come work with me,” Saeed Ahmed, head of digital journalism U.S., tweets.
Ahmed continues, “We at the @bbc are aggressively expanding in North America and, in the coming weeks, I will be hiring for a LOT of roles. So, if you’re a writer, editor, home page/social producer designer – send me your stuff and reach out. (DM or LinkedIn)."
This prompted several people to reach out. But at least one was skeptical. William Lafi Youmans tweeted, “Expanding again? This will be BBC’s third foray or so at least. Hope they don’t retreat again.”
Ahmed formerly worked at NPR and CNN.
