Ripple Effect Interactive has been named by The Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in the region. The award was based on a survey that measured the
revenue growth of companies during the past three years. In a press release, Ripple chief executive officer Louis Malafarina attributed the company's success to a combination of strategic and creative
skills. Between 2000 and 2002, Ripple was the only interactive firm in its region to show positive revenue growth; it grew its number of employees by more than 36% during that period.
