Video Magazine Rack Wins Content Deal

Video Magazine Rack, PRIMEDIA Inc.'s new video-on-demand service, announced a content licensing deal with Cflix Inc., a broadband entertainment network dedicated to the college market. Through local area network (LAN) servers, Cflix will make PRIMEDIA's Video Magazine Rack's special interest programming available to more than 4,500 students at Duke University. Cflix expects to roll out the Video Magazine Rack programming to additional college campuses in the fall of 2003.

Cflix will host a Video Magazine Rack featured channel offering programming from Video Magazine Rack's content library of enthusiast titles, including Adventure Sports and Motor Trend. Video Magazine Rack programs will be made available to Duke University's closed LAN network of end-users at high-speed access rates of 850K and higher. Because Duke's own internal network will deliver the content, end users will receive the highest picture quality available.
