Short of an “unfollow,” there has never been an easy way to block another Twitter users’ endless stream of inspirational quotes, obscure inside jokes, “humble brags,” and
namedropping. The network is now testing a sort of “mute button,” however. “In essence … the mute feature works as a kind of stealth unfollow -- you won't be seeing another
person's tweets, but they won't know that,” The Verge reports.
