A TV series that features standup comics before live studio audiences will re-enter production in October for 26 hour-long episodes. "Dateline Comedy" will be in syndication beginning in January 2003.
Each show will include standup routines plus interviews and behind-the-scenes clips. Among the 50 comics who have appeared on "Dateline Comedy" are Ellen DeGeneres, Kathy Madigan, Bill Engvall and Jay
Mohr. The programs are for barter syndication through Fresh Bait Inc. and will also air under its Campus Movie Network banner at more than 500 college and university campuses nationwide in movie
theaters and closed circuit TV.
